Bio: Project Aware Goals
Increase capacity of school personnel and other adults who can detect and respond to mental health issues.
Improve collaboration, policies and processes to identify school-aged youth served by SCIT, MPPS and SPS who may have behavioral health issues.
Increase awareness of mental health issues among school-aged youth with a focus on trauma through community and parent engagement.
Increase understanding of needed mental health resources for youth in the Tribal, Mount Pleasant and Shepherd communities.
